How to use the product schema generator

Product listing schema generator: mark up real offers

Choose Product and enter the visible product name, canonical URL, price, currency, and availability. The output describes one offer; it does not create product reviews, ratings, inventory, or eligibility that the page does not visibly support. Keep the price and availability synchronized with the page and validate the live result after publishing.

AggregateRating schema: use real review totals

Choose AggregateRating and enter the average rating, maximum rating, rating count, and optional review count. The generator wraps that rating in Product JSON-LD because an aggregate rating describes the product being reviewed. Use numbers that match visible, first-party review evidence; valid markup cannot make invented ratings eligible for a rich result.

Do rich snippets help SEO?

Rich snippets can improve how a result looks and earns clicks, but valid structured data does not guarantee a richer result or a higher ranking. Use this generator to describe content that is already visible, validate the JSON-LD, and then measure impressions and clicks in Search Console rather than treating eligibility as a traffic promise.

What FAQ schema markup does

FAQ schema is JSON-LD that describes questions and answers already visible on a page. It can make that page eligible for enhanced search features, but it does not improve rankings directly and Google decides whether to show a rich result.

FAQ schema generator: mark up visible questions

Use the FAQ schema generator for questions and answers that are visibly present on the page and useful to its readers. Keep each answer complete, do not hide promotional copy in the markup, and remember that valid FAQPage JSON-LD makes a page eligible rather than guaranteeing an expanded result in Google.

Review schema generator: add real ratings only

Choose Review and enter one line as rating | best rating | author | review text. The item being reviewed must be a real product, service, or other thing described on the page, and the rating and review must be visible to visitors. Never invent reviews or ratings to chase a rich result; validate the output in Google's Rich Results Test and follow its current review-snippet eligibility rules.

Use JSON-LD, not microdata

There are three ways to add structured data: JSON-LD, microdata, and RDFa. Google explicitly recommends JSON-LD, and it is the only one that lives in a single self-contained <script> block rather than being woven through your HTML attributes. That means you can add, edit, or remove it without touching the markup around your content, and it survives a redesign. This generator emits JSON-LD only.

The markup has to match the page

Structured data must describe content a visitor can actually see. FAQ schema on a page with no visible FAQ, review markup for reviews that do not exist, or a price in the markup that differs from the price on the page are all violations of Google's structured data guidelines and can trigger a manual action. Mark up what is there; do not use schema to claim things the page does not show.

Validate before and after you ship

Paste the output into Google's Rich Results Test to confirm the type is eligible and no required properties are missing, then check Search Console's Enhancements reports a week or two after deploying to see what Google actually parsed on the live page. The two answer different questions: the test tells you whether the markup is valid, Search Console tells you whether Google found it at scale.

Product Schema Generator FAQ

Is the product listing schema generator free?

Yes. The product listing schema generator is free to use on Seobase with no signup required for the on-page Product JSON-LD.

Can I use the product listing schema generator for SEO content?

Yes. The tool is built for search-focused workflows and pairs best with human review before publishing.

What is a product listing schema generator?

It creates Product JSON-LD that describes a visible product, offer, price, currency, and availability. The markup can help a page qualify for enhanced search features, but it cannot create reviews, ratings, inventory, or eligibility that the page does not visibly support.

Where do I put the JSON-LD?

Inside a <script type="application/ld+json"> block in the <head> of the page it describes. Google will also read it from the <body>, and it can be injected by a tag manager, but the <head> is the most reliable place.

Do rich snippets help SEO?

They can improve search-result visibility and click-through rate when Google chooses to show them, but structured data is not a direct ranking boost and eligibility is not guaranteed. Keep the marked-up content visible, valid, and useful, then measure the live result in Search Console.

Does schema markup improve my rankings?

Not directly, it is not a ranking factor. It makes a page eligible for rich results, which raises click-through rate at the same position. The traffic gain is real; the ranking gain is not.

Can this generate review schema?

Yes. Choose Review and enter rating, best rating, author, and the visible review text. The generator emits Review JSON-LD, but it cannot make an invented or hidden review eligible; the page must show the content and meet Google's structured data guidelines.

Can this generate AggregateRating schema?

Yes. Choose AggregateRating and enter the average rating, maximum rating, rating count, and optional review count. The output wraps the aggregate rating in Product JSON-LD; only use totals supported by reviews visible on the page.

Can I use more than one schema type on a page?

Yes, and you often should, an article page can reasonably carry Article, BreadcrumbList, and Organization markup at once. Use separate script blocks, or nest them under a single @graph.

Why is my rich result not showing?

Eligibility is not a guarantee. Google shows rich results at its discretion and weighs site quality, so valid markup on a low-trust page frequently displays nothing. Confirm the markup parses in the Rich Results Test first, then treat the display itself as something you earn rather than switch on.
